Beyond the Classroom: A Closer Look at Our Students' Experiential Learning in 2023 Competitions - By Dr Preeti ( BM Faculty)

 


Our Business Management students participated in various competitions during the academic term of 2023 to gain real business insights and experiential learning. They took part in the following  key competitions.

2023 ANU Business Case Study Competition

This virtual competition helped students to showcase their analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. The competition was an excellent opportunity for high school students to challenge their understanding of analysing and presenting financial information, corporate governance and effective decision making in a business setting

Wharton Global High School Investment Competition

The competition is an experiential investment challenge for high school students and teachers. Participants compete with other student teams from around the world and learn about strategy-building, teamwork, communication, risk, diversification, company and industry analysis, and actively investing in the stock market through a real-world simulation.

XAVAGE 2023 by TISB

The ethos of XAVAGE revolves around Economics and Business – the event was an opportunity for students in Bangalore to demonstrate as well as enrich their knowledge of and passion for entrepreneurship, finance, economics, and more. Competitions included Bulls and Bears-stock simulation competition, Pitching the idea for a startup, Private Investment Market Simulation.

LSExISBF StartUp Hackathon 2023 

Competition aimed at fostering innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit among our students and the wider community. This event provided a platform for students, to pitch their entrepreneurial ideas.
